March on Washington 3 by weirdweirdweird March on Washington 3 by weirdweirdweird
Estimates are up to 1 to 2 million people to have showed up to protest big government, out-of-control government spending and other issues. Other more moderate estimates are several hundred thousand people. I was there and the streets were filled!

Um... No.

So you're saying that conservatives and republicans are the bastion of truth?

Also, how old are you?

Quite biased links you posted. The picture on one of them was a complete lie, I was there in person and at the peak the empty lawn shown was filled and then some.
But what's it to you anyway? Why be so concerned about the number? Are you scared?

Then would you mind directing me to unbiased links? This would mean no Fox News, Drudge Report, etc., etc. Those aren't unbiased links either, FYI. And you can't say that something is a complete lie unless you have substantial evidence to back it up. First-person witnesses mean nothing. The burden of proof is upon you, unfortunately. I can look for more links if you so wish me to do so.

I simply dislike the spread of misinformation. I'm not 'concerned' about the number, but the perpetuated myth that there were up to one million people present is absurd. And I'm hardly scared, either. But I /am/ concerned about the signs being picketed portraying the president as Hitler, 'Bury Obamacare with Kennedy', 'We didn't come armed (YET)', etc., etc., ad nauseum.

I guess we'll find out:

I didn't think some of the signs were appropriate, but the points they were trying to make is what matters. People are angry at liberals destroying our country and want to be heard.

Oh, and before you bring this up (it's only inevitable). I didn't accept liberals making themselves look like idiots by picketing things that essentially were death threats on GWB, either. I don't play to a double standard.

Fair enough. I'll await the results. But if it's anything less than the alleged 1.2 million, you have to admit that people are spreading falsehoods and inflating numbers.

So the point of basically trying to say that people are going to storm Washington, assassinating the president and Congress is acceptable? Being angry at someone does not constitute making death threats. Liberal or not, it only attracts unneeded attention and makes the far conservative right look bad.

Liberals are far from the ones who have suddenly started to 'destroy' the country. If anything, you have to be fair that George W. Bush did some pretty bad things in his eight years of presidency. Believing that liberals are the only ones at fault when they've been deadlocked in the Senate and House majorities for a long while, is denial to the highest degree.

I know President Bush had some liberal policies too. I didn't say he was the perfect conservative.
And I haven't seen any signs saying to assassinate anybody.

The administration is claiming a "Silent Majority" making you the "Loud Minoirty" and, as with the great tradition of Democrats, they're ignoring the minority, because they chose this year to decide a majority CAN rule a minority, get ready to have your way of life changed by force.

yes, I believe the Obama administration is hopeless... maybe our country won't be gone yet by 2010 though.
